By Christmas 2015, 49 MLA’s from Sinn Féin, Alliance, SDLP, People Before Profit and the Green Party had signed pledges to do all in their power at Stormont in support of the Build Homes Now campaign. Local MLA’s then joined the families in a vigil at the Mackies site calling for public housing.
