New Script campaigners are delighted that the Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tina Black, has shared her New Script for Mental Health.

The Mayor highlighted the critical importance of equality of access to good mental health care for everyone.

Drawing on her long experience of working at a grassroots level in a working-class community, she called in particular for equal access to counselling and rehabilitation services.

‘My New Script for Mental Health is that all citizens are supported with the same level of dignity and ease of access.’
